Made an aluminium ladder to get to my already modified aluminium roof rack, just saves jumping on the bonnet all the time.

Installed new wipac led indicators and park lights. Wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but still wasn't hard.
For future reference, I would have sourced a Amp connector from a late model Defender and plugged them in, rather then cutting the plugs off and crimping them.
Part numbers:
S6060LED
S6061LED
Headlights are up next and then combo tail lights.
Also picked up a discovery steering box to go with the 4BE1 pump and also a set of heavy duty rims (ANR4583PM) which will hopefully get sand blasted, zinc plated then painted olive drab.

						Great thread. Thanks.
Did the battery 'off/on' switch. I got a auto elec to crimp/heatshrink 2 lugs and make me up a 250mm positive battery lead, $15, to suit the new battery post clamp.

The cable was from some of the FFR 24v cabling - the east west cable joining the battery boxes left and right side. One end of that red cable was worn/chaffed thru and would've been L & D (blown a fuse doing it too I reckon).

I put the sw on the seatbox facing the passenger legs. Its a Taylor. I sprayed the sw handle OD.
It works.
Sounds good! What switch did you use? Wouldn't mind a picture of the OD handle! :-D
Edit: Nevermind got the link working on my phone.
Gave it an oil change and went over it with the spanners. I hope the guys that worked on these Perenties in the Army are not putting firearms together!
Cheers, Mick
