    Ahh ok..how do people make it look better on the outside, paint, wheel arch flares ect?

    I have heard that some people use a kind of oil or something?

    Lanolin Spray+rag+elbow grease. Give the truck a wash first.

    Lanolin is sheep wool oil.

    The camo is matt/flat/lusterless/faded

    Yes. The finish is matte due to a surface that is "rough" on a microscopic scale. That roughness will hold a suitable liquid. Lanolin will not evaporate easily and so remains there longer.

    Similar to a used car yard trick I was introduced to about fifty years ago - washing a car in kerosine will leave it shiny, at least long enough for the sucker to drive away.
