200k over 20 years it pretty cheap really !! I'd pay 10k a year for a merc 6x6 !! $190 a week including service costs. I think the average joe would find it hard to get that kind of deal. ?!?!

And it's also the amount budgeted for by Defence, not the value of the cheque handed to Mercedes. Other costs would include transporting vehicles from delivery to user units, re-training of mechanics and drivers, re-publishing of manuals and documents, re-equipping workshops with special tools. There's far more cost involved with buying a new vehicle fleet than just paying for the truck. By that, I mean the "Cost" is a lot more than the "Price".
