    Help buying a perentie

Hi, I want to buy a perentie that is for sale in NSW and I live in QLD. Just want to know the best way to get a check done before I make an offer. Any idea's?

I trained to talk to the owner abit but his English is not the best so the opinion of some one else who has seen the car would be great.

    Regards
    RowN.

G'Day RowN. If it is in Sydney, I would recommend having KLR Automotive check it out first.
If you are flying solo and taking a chance, then I (and others) highly recommend my Perentie Buyers Guide. I wrote it just for you (and others like you) There is heaps of info that can help with understanding if you are buying a dog or not.
    Link is in my signature.
    Cheers, BDave.

There's more than just KLR that can check out Perenties, Peter from Range Parts knows them inside out, Carl at Greenlight works on a couple of them, and plenty of members have them or know their way around them too.

    thanks

as well as condition (covered above and with an independent check by KLR), be aware that buying a vehicle carries some risks regading the proving of ownership and whether there are any monies owing

I can't open the link but I would say it's either an asbestos warning or NIRR (neoprene infer red resistant) paint warning. Neither of which are anything to worry about ..... Unless you're the ISS
