I'd love to, but the bank manager says no.
The Dynamic rims have the same load rating, almost the same look and are $100 a rim compared to the $180 odd the wolf rims go for.
And I'm hoping that 16x7 +20 with 265/85/r16 will not stick out from the guard and keep the same turning circle. (My tyre guy seems to think that will be the case)
Nope. Negative offset pushes the rim out and positive offset pushes the rims in towards the car.
Pretty sure those dynamics are rated for 1400kg and the wolfs are 2250kg. But can't find where its printed.
Can you even get 265/85? I thought the widest with that ratio was 255.
Dunno what others think, but a zero offset would be more future proof.
Also wasn't 265/75R16 standard D90 fitment?

Ah right, the will **** in.
does this mean you think they will fit?
What about second hand defender stealies?
Haven't been able to find any near me, and for what I have seen them sell for, I rather pay a bit more and get a set of brand new ones.
They are the same diameter as your current wheels but a little wider.
235/85R16 is standard Defender fitment on +33 rims.
Well, if you don't want to buy Disco steelies, Defender steelies or Wolf rims I guess that leaves Range Rover rims and your bog standard Dynamic/Sunraysia.
Or just put new tires on your tubeless perentie rims.
Thanks BadCo.
Sadly my bank account won't extend to getting genuine rims. The Dynamics seem to look ok, so i think that they will do.
Do the Defenders have different hubs to a 110? just wondering how that will work with a +33 offset and 235 wide tyres I would have thought that would result in either scrubbing or a increased turning circle.
Poking around the internet leaves me to believe that the stock Perentie rim is +33.
I'm trying to do the math; the new rim is 1" wider, but 8mm less inset. the 235 is 40mm wider than the 7.5, so in all it will end up about 25mm closer to the inside of the wheel arch. I think there is enough clearance in there that at full lock it won't scrub on things.
Just found an old thread that seems to support that theory.
