    You married a good one!
How did her left leg hold up? I find even I get tired after an hour or two of reasonable driving.
Not to mention my left ankle, but that because I broke the crap out of it and never got full strength/movement back.

Sounds like Gav and Mick are going to have a formidable war machine in their little area of Mexico with the gear they are gathering.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

I believe one of the Perenties at Corowa had been fitted with a power assisted clutch. I didn't actually get a look at the set up. It is something I have been fantasizing about to do with mine as I have a dodgy knee and it doesn't get along that well with the Perentie clutch!

    Cheers, Mick.

Something like that is pretty high on my wish list. Beats out p/s and air-con for top spot actually. One day when I win the lotto .

She was fine with the clutch - said it was lighter than the x trail - which gives her a bit of grief in traffic. It's about the same as the 101's which isn't too bad IMO.
