That is right Dave, they were manual.
You might confuse some with the reference to 'senior commander' though.
The remediation vehicles are more like a 2002 hard top Cargo with winch.
most (if not all) the hard top senior commander ones that went out with the td5 in them were manual td5 and were a different beast to the auto trial units.

Choices are ford aod, gm 4L80E and 6L80E.
Was talking to the developer the other day
I'd like to do the 4l80e as i have just fitted one up to the back of a perkins phaser in an OKA. It is wayyyy bigger than the 4hp24e....I still have some isuzu to zf plates and a crankshaft to flex plate adapter etc. Compushift and a decent shifter and we're away!

Hi Dave just to put you in the picture I am paralysed from the waist down.Ihave hand controls that work the accelerater and brakes. I have thought of a small hydrolic ram fitted to the clutch pedal with a lever fitted on the gear stick operated by a power steering pump. All thoughts on this most welcome. Cheers all
Would the ram just dump the clutch? Curious as to how itwould release it in different situations.
That was the idea with a lever fitted on the gear stick the clutch peddle can be pushed in slowly and also released slowly by the lever on the gear stick .Like raising and lowering implements on tractors etc Cheers Bushy
