Message from customer: Hi.
I have an ex-army land rover 110. I have tried using your call centre a number of times to find out if
you will insure it. However the consultants have gotten it wrong 3 times now.
This is the vehicle that I have
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Rover_Perentie
specifically a 1989 4x4. Truck, Utility, Lightweight, Winch, MC2 (314 Vehicles) is the specific designation.
Can you insure this type of vehicle?
Dear Chris
Thank you for your recent email in relation to insuring the 1989 Land Rover Perentie.
We can confirm the closest model we were able to locate to this vehicle was a 1989 Land Rover One Ten.
For the utility where the one tray folds down at the rear end of the vehicle, there are 2 different types:
1) 1989 Land Rover One Ten with 39cc's and
2) 1989 Land Rover One Ten, equipment model MO with 28cc's.
For a truck where the 3 sides fold down there is a:
1) normal 1989 Land Rover One Ten 39cc vehicle or a
2) 1989 Land Rover One Ten 6x6 39cc vehicle.
The following is the maximum we can insure these vehicle for under an agreed value policy.
$8,060 - normal 1989 Land Rover One Ten 39cc vehicle
$8,060 - 1989 Land Rover One Ten 6x6 39cc vehicle.
$8,060 - 1989 Land Rover One Ten, equipment model MO with 28cc's
$10,790 - 1989 Land Rover One Ten with 39cc's

I've sent them a reply asking her to clarify what she is talking about with those cc's .
It took them 5 days to respond to the original e-mail, still waiting on a response from
my request for more info.
gives you a cheap option, beware no choice of repairer though.
