    WHY
Because I had time to troll.
Will probably/eventually get an Icom,at the moment I have lots of other places to spend the coin
Lots cheaper than the fitted price that was mentioned.

But your Ebay price is $490odd plus $15 shipping vs Prestige is $416 delivered.

Fitting and aerial is extra for both.

So why would you be looking at the ebay product.

Icom make the best radio's by far IMHO..

Go 3 on the boat never had a problem, VHF UHF and HF they are all good units..

unfortunately SWMBO isn't keen on spending that much on a radio, so at the moment it is none rather than buying a cheap unit

I've got an older gme tx4xxx.

The backlight doesn't work, so its a pain to use at night, but it's yours if you want it.

Thank you very much for the offer and yes I will grab it, my mobile number is 0424642162 if you want to give me a call so I can catch up - compare notes, crawl all over each others landies and grab the radio

Bee Utey is the only other Adelaide based AULROIAN that I have met down here so far and really looking forward to meeting more of us.
