Thread: iphone 5

"NFC is fast becoming an industry standard for contactless payments it isnt going anywhere any time soon. How am I changing the topic by bringing up iPhone 5 security flaws? If the iPhone 5 can be hacked without NFC is that not a concern to you? NFC venerabilitys will be ironed out same as the iPhone 5."

Answer - It's irrelevant because we both concede that any phone can have security issues that require operator diligence....but nothing you can do when using NFC today will render you safe from potential attack. So a big difference actually.

Answer - your Android is released with an inferior microprocessor ( even though it has a higher clock speed and 2x the cores, it still can't beat the A6 - fact), inferior engineering, an inferior screen, and an inferior web browser if you want to start a list.....all Android/Samsung fails too by your standards. I'll take the Apple map fail type....because, even if you can't accept it, mapping software does need user experiences ( feedback) to improve and from my usage of the app, it will be far superior soon enough.

In Apple/Android bashing there is no topic, its just a messy free for all, and that's why its so fun!

I updated the missus iPad2 to iOS6 last night. She was very unimpressed with the lack of a native youTube app. A new shortcut on the home screen sorted her out but I left her without for a few hours just to reinforce my impressions of Apple on her

Shortcut? Just download the actual You Tube app for free! Talk about a first world problem!

The nexus 7 is arguably faster...

there is a range of browser choice on android - last time I had a go with Opera mobile it was pretty impressive.

I'm not saying the Iphone 5 is a crap phone. It just looks to me as if Apple are loosing the lead, starting to make the risky choices - perhaps missing the guidance of steve jobs. Maybe its only downhill from here!

No good looking at an iphone app on an ipad! An ipad version is in the works I hear but not out yet.

Answer - all of them slower on mobile gadgets that Safari. And you CAN use Opera on iPhone too...

Answer - I understand you are not saying it's crap. I'm putting up replies here because unlike virtually everyone else commenting, I actually have one! As for your latter point, time will tell. Personally, I doubt it.
