Still, $40 bucks for an "upgrade" might be worth it.
you realise that you have to plug computers in and turn them on right?

Problem with all these offers is that they're Windows "upgrades" or Office and I don't have Windows on my Mac so I need a fresh install and that seems to be a bit hard to find at a reasonable price. I do have Office for Mac and it's fine. Thanks for your suggestions to date though
I have a need to run Microsoft Project and Access and a few other programmes that only run on "Windoze".
    cheers Gerald

    well, what can i say,,
    the upgrade was painless,
microsoft does a great job of channeling you into parts it wants you to agree to,,
obviously microsoft wants you to never shut your pc down,,
or find any of your programs,,
I'm determined to continue with the new start screen,,

there just doesnt seem to be anything on there I use--
