Thread: Firefox problem

Hi all. I run Firefox on my laptop but I have a problem. In Firefox I have a number of add-ons which are fine, except for shockwave, which if enabled locks up Firefox and stops it working. I can open Firefox but cannot access shortcuts nor can I close Firefox. I have to use the three finger shutdown (cont, alt, delete) and then shut Firefox. If I disable both the shockwave add-ons (there are two) Firefox runs normally except I cannot look at some sites. I have reloaded Firefox and all add-ons but the problem still exists. Can anyone help? Jim

I'd start with the following:
1. Clear browser history and cookies
2. Clear shockwave and flash cache
3. Install latest releases of shockwave and flash from adobe
