64 bit ??
OK super geeks .. 
How do I find out which version of Windows I'm running ... 32 or 64 bit?

Yep ... did that.
System summary C\ ..... \system32
So does that mean it's 32 bit ??
BTW It's XP Pro Service Pack 3

I only have one customer with 64bit XP. If memory serves my right, it should say 64bit on the windows startup screen ( where it says Windows XP Pro ).
Alot of software is incompatible with 64 so it's not common. I would hazard a guess and say you've got 32bit. (especially as it's Pro service pack 3)
I don't have a 64bit machine here to look at.
Why do you need to know?

Then I'd agree it's most likely 32 bit and by the sounds of it, I should stay that way.
More curiosity then anything. Occasionally you come across bits of software where the question is asked. This AM I was checking out Windows Defender and went to the "Update" page where there were both options.
BTW thanks for appeasing my curiosity ...
