Removal of D1 drivers seat belt

The drivers seat belt is attached at base of B pillar. The belt threads through a plastic moulding/cover before it reaches the top mounting at the top of the B pillar. How do I get the plastic mouldings apart without destroying them. The plastic moulding seems to be firmly attached to the pillar and also retained by the weather strip. The weather strip is easy to pull aside, but the moulding refuses to come away from the pillar at the top, where the belt becomes exposed.
    Help please.

Hi, you will need to pull all the door seals away from the trim concerned, this is what holds it in, you may find that if it does not move there may be small anounts of glue holding it back, it is better if you remove it from the bottom up as it is stronger at the bottom, try to push a flat screwdriver in to break the seal.
You may have to remove the sill plates to get the door seal off enough.
Once it is all off you will need to pull all the seatbelt off the inertia reel to get to the bolt holding it on, 22 or 23mm from memory.
