D2 wheel wont fit a D1, the PCD is different.
Hey guys just wondering if the stock 16inch wheel's from a Disco series 2 1999 will fit on a Disco 1 1998?

As mentioned they are not a direct fit as the PCD and the stud size changed from D1 to D2.
You can "make" them fit with an adaptor kit from places like Rovacraft: http://www.rovacraft.com.au/products...isco_Pages.pdf , see wheel adaptors on pg 17 of 22.
It will probably increase your track a bit and who knows about the legality of even using these in Aus.

BUT, they are illegal in Australia, but popular in the UK, mostly used to fit new RR wheels to defenders, they gook great.
I have been using the Simonites adapters for some years now, and have not had any problems at all. They do however put around 50mm on the track, which does have some effect on what tyres you can use, even standard sized MT tyres hit the rear bodywork slightly on full extension.
