So its actually coming out from in between the top of the oil filter and the housing?

If so, surely you have something stuck between the rubber seal and housing?

    What do you think?

I would be looking at the thermostat (oil) housing, the bolt head (plug) that you can see has an o-ring sealing it and it can leak, Regards Frank.

I dont think it is leaking from there. More so where you screw on the filter.

Yes 3 & 4, mine was leaking from there, I could have sworn it was the oil filter leaking, but it wasn't, if you take the whole housing off, it is a bugger to get the old gasket material off the block, was on mine anyway, Regards Frank.

The oil is coming from where I said, as you can see right in the middle of the bottom pic, clean the oil off as Dave said, puff some talc on that area and run the engine, Regards Frank.

Nah, I think it is just oozing out from where the oil filter bolts on. There is a top weep hole as well as a bottom weep hole for the thermostat housing on the oil filter.

    Cheers
