    Wolf Rims stud info

Hi all, anyone run wolf rims on their D1? I states that you may need longer studs to clear the extra thickness of them? Is this the case with series 1 discos? I have read some of the fender posts and it seems as though discos should be ok?

    Thanks guys.

In case he misses this thread, Langy on here runs these wheels on his D1. He's never mentioned a stud issue that I know of.

Yeah - I have run 130 rims on my D1 for a couple of months, and from memory the studs are too short. Not by much but definitely recessed a couple of threads. Never had any issues with the wheel nuts, but if you are running 7.50R16's on the 130 rims they will foul on the bodywork/chassis of a D1 (and mine has a 2" lift....) on articulation and full lock.

Acceleration was decidedly average too. Happier back on stock rims/tyres.

I have WOLF Rims on standard Disco wheel studs. The threads are nearly a flush fit with the wheel nuts and I've not had any problems with them.
They are really heavy though and probably don't help my 0-60 times much!

    I run 265/70 R16's and a 2 inch lift BTW.
