    WTF? Mine were $34each end from memory.

    I'd be going back and questioning this. PM me if you want me to look for my invoice which should state the bearing set numbers and price.

    I've just bought diff bearings to install in my d1 Detroit. Bearings are all Timkin Carriers were around $17 ea x 2. Pinions are dear - the big one is about $90 and the smaller one around $30.

    I know nothing about diffs how many pinion bearings would you need for one diff..

    Two complete TimKin bearings just to do the Salisbury carrier were $210.

    Two. One at the pinion head, next to the crownwheel. That's the biggie. Then the other at the pinion flange at the tailshaft end. I believe the Ford 9 inch diff has 3 bearings on the pinion to stop flex. Not on a LR though.
