Thread: range rover to disco fuel tank

hi does any on know if a range rover 89 long range tank will fit a disco 1 v8 i think they have the same chassis and i came across a cheap tank cheers in advance

Chassis is basically the same shape but the 89 RRC has different mounting brackets for the tank. You will have to do a little modifying but the Disco has a little bit more space with smaller mounting brackets. Also the fuel pump assembly will be different but you can adapt the hoses and wiring plugs.
