    Angry more antitheft unit problems

I have no fob. I managed to bridge the immobiliser in accordance with the excellent guide and all was well for a few weeks then I changed the sequence of opening the doors, going tailgate unlock by key first opened the tailgate door and put the dog in the back and closed the tailgate door. Big mistake. I managed to get the dog out and neither security key strokes or verbal encouragement will bypass the antitheft unit. I would be happy to bypass that as well if I knew how.

Bypass the immobiliser, and put an aftermarket central locking system in using the existing loom. It's way more reliable, works at more than 1 foot separation, and costs less than a single replacement key. If you're worried about insurance, just inform them of the modification.

another option is, you can just unplug the siren/horn from memory it's a separate horn for the alarm. System will still Work, but no noisy wakeups.

The fitted the immobiliser around 96 onwards, I have a 95 Disco parts vehicle with no keyless fob or immobiliser.

Another reason I specifically bought a pre update Disco, less **** to go wrong, trade off is the dash layout is crap, the centre console is pretty much an afterthought, no glovebox and the awful blue interior but I guess you can't have everything
