    seat belt - middle of 2nd row seats

    We have 3 kids & the youngest has hit the 30kg limit for H-harness anchor points. A lap belt only & no head rest in the middle seat is not very good.

    The cost of changing cars to solve the problem is very high (eg. series 3 disco or Prado). Can I get a lap/sash seat belt fitted to a series 1 disco?

    Not sure how possible but maybe fit a set of D2 seats? Has the middle belt and buckle integrated.

    My mechanic reckons changing to D2 seats is straight forward swap. He offered me a full set (front and rear, leather) a couple of years ago for $450.
