Thread: what kind of questions should i ask???

d1 def have abs, my 94 es does.

my late '94/5 TDi doesn't have ABS \i think you will find it is only selected (ES) types that have ABS.
i have seen them with 0,1 or 2 airbags as well

The above post is my personal experience with my 98 Series 1 LS. ABS was option from 94ish and standard on the ES and LS versions. Mine is an LS. Yes not all had ABS but if it does, it's worthwhile checking the system is ok.
