ideas before I rip the interior apart?

    Morning guys and gals,

With this lovely weather that we are having in NSW at the moment my beloved Disco has started leaking AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is pooling at the front of the front doors where the door sill ends. I've removed the sills and plastic casing aswell as the A-pillar covers. It seems to be getting in about halfway up the front doors on the A-pillar (running down the side but nothing around the windscreen). Any ideas where this may be from before I start to pull the dash to pieces? I'm guessing there may be a rubber grommit up there which has failed on both sides.

Also, is there a way to get round the sides of the dash without removing everything?

    Cheers,
    Phil

my guess is your windscreen needs resealing..

could be running down your roof gutter and getting in via the top corners
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Check the plate onto which the windscreen motor is attached. Ditto with the matching plate on the other side. Mine leaked through the seals on both.

    Thanks all,

I "seem" to have it sorted...
passenger side has water coming in around and through grommit it a pillar where wires go.

Drivers side appears to be gutter leaking. Is there an easy way to remove the windscreen surround from the top outer corners as I want to clean it all out and reseal.

    Thanks

    Danke shun herr Ron

well it was worth you putting up this post - after literally years of pulling my hair out I found a small piece of windscreen rubber missing in the top right hand corner, right where the front of the gutter stops so water would have run straight into it from the gutter. Being a bodgy bugger I used silicone to fill the gap, will now see if that fixes the infuriating water leak.
