Thread: Disco fuel pump loss of power??

    To get it home you could run a wire directly from the battery to the pump. Or if you have a spare battery put it in the back next to the pump. As long as there is fuel in the tank should not cause any problems.

    Having the fuel pump constantly running wont burn it out? or are they constant anyway?

    The fuel pump runs as long as your engine is running. How else would the engine get fuel?? It stops when your engine stops.

    Thanks for clearing that up, i thought that possibly once the fuel rails have fuel the ecu switches on the pump as required...
