I think your better of purchasing the correct springs as they aren't expensive around $150 a pair lifted

Thing is I'm only after a small lift of up to 25mm so I can keep my Billsteins, am only a pensioner & even 150 bucks (300 for 2 pair) is a lot of money

If you have measured as I suggested and the external diameter, the wire diameter etc are as stated, there should be no reason that they will not work. They should be OK.
You should measure what your current distance is from hub to mudguard lip and compare after fitting them.
It is a bit of work to find out later that they do not fit or give no lift if that is your aim, and you may not like the extra stiffness.
But then IMHO the lack of info that most OZ spring makers give makes fitting them just as much of a lottery.
    Regards Philip A

Thanks PhilipA, in regards to extra stiffness that's what I'm sort of after as will be towing a pop-top van around Oz starting in Jan
