    Door handle reattachment 10mm bolt

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has any tips for reattaching the door handles and screwing in those 10mm bolts. I've always used a small standard socket, a major pain as the socket is too deep and the bolt never really reaches the thread. Am i missing something?

If you are referring to the internal grab handle. Nope... I just use a 1/4in drive with an extension. The bolts do have a taper to help with locating. I put the "shallow" bolt in first and leave it a little loose. Plenty of worse bolts to get at! :-)

Yeah the grab handle. They seem to be my Achilles heel.

The last few times I have done it I have used a deep tube socket and broken a stick to the right length to fit inside with just enough room for the bolt head.

Yeah I've tried sticks and small rocks, but I always feel a little caveman like

Even scrunched up paper pushed into the socket will to the trick and not fall out easily

A bit of putty, blue tac, or plasticine does the trick, Regards Frank.
