I'm no expert on this but I was under the impression that this would require an engineer's certificate as it isn't a 'standard option'. My brother years ago modified a Bedford van with a 308 in it and it needed an engineer's certificate - admittedly it had more than 20% extra horse power after the mod but the engineer was very detailed in all the requirements and that was 30 years ago. I can only assume that the requirements have gotten stricter over that intervening time.
In other posts I've read finding a sympathetic engineer has been difficult for some. I'd be cautious and run it past the RTA in NSW. You could check the rego paper and see what capacity it has on it, if it doesn't say 5L then it is suspect and will require more investigation.
