I replaced the front passenger side window regulator. Hoping to remedy the non working reverse lights soon.
Used the D1 to take the camper, myself and mrs bush for a few nights.

Regulator or lights?
If you're needing to replace the window regulator or motor follow this write up: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php'showtopic=31420
It's what I used and it only took me a couple hours. It's a pretty straightforwards job and I could have it done within an hour now if I had to do it again.
Note: the write up says you need a security torx bit to remove the motor from the regulator mechanism, but in my case all I needed was a plain T30 torx bit.
Removed the rear window circuit board and repaired cracked dry solder joint...they both worked at all switches....
However yesterday the drivers side rear glass has come adrift from the lifting mechanism.....off with the door skins.
Technically , it's not really my Disco anymore
I swapped it for a 1985 , 110 , V8 County
But I did promise the new owner that I would get the 4 RWC items done;
Windscreen - tick
Rocker cover gaskets - tick
Rear muffler - to be done
Today's job- try and remove the under floor gas tanks. Nearly there and thanks to this forum , should finish it tomorrow night
Put a new set of 245/70/r16 all terrains on it (now to find a home for the pair of like new 235/70/r16 I took off front).
Added a really well built roof rack I scored off of gumtree from a fellow Disco enthusiast.
I think I am going to be a regular poster in this topic, what with the bucket of bolts I have brought. So yesterday was a vac hose to the dizzy today was one of the heater hoses. Still to look at is one lazy hydraulic lifter that is making a noise.
Cheers Hall
