Thread: Lack of spider issue.

    spider

    Hi loanrangie my spider on my 96 d1 is deep in the centre dash about 45 min of disassemble to get to it mine had a bypassing but I have a spare one if you have by passed why touch it ?

    As i mentioned before mine is not there, i bypassed it with a switch and i want it back to working correctly.

    So for those with a late model D1 and have the symptoms of a spider issue, stop looking as there is no spider. LR integrated the immobilization function into the alarm unit , to fix this you need to bridge pins 10 & 11 but i'm yet to determine which these are.
    Pic of alarm below .

    On a good note i fixed the dry joint on my window lift ECU so thats done now.

    That's the one should have been behind passenger kick panel, where was it if it wasn't there?

    I found the diagram and i bridged 10 & 11 but didnt work , BUT does removing the alarm require some kind o re learning ?
    I locked then unlock the car with fob but made no difference, might have to ground 14 and see what happens.
