Well yeah I reckon mine's been squeaky for 2 years.
Fishing sounds much more fun than being under a leaky Landy.
If it makes you feel any better, mine has been doing it on and off for months, maybe a year.
I would say I'm going to look at it tonight, but the weather looks great, so I might go fishing after work.![]()

Thanks mate, I took the prop out but haven't had time to replace the UJs.
Also haven't driven yet without it.
Jacked up the front end and after about 400km since new bearings there is a bit of play so gonna tighten those up again and see how we go.
Was not UJs.
Replaced track rod and drag link ends and got a wheel alignment.
Squeaking seems less... maybe...???![]()
Sounds like you're clutching at straws to me!!
I'm hoping to find time to look at mine tomorrow...
Not that it helps, but talking about mysteriuos squeaks, I once had tyres on a ford that squeaked when driven on smooth concrete in an underground car park, never squeaked on the bitumen
That's bizarre. I hope you got rid of it ASAP.
Maybe the brake disc is slightly out of true or there is some protrusion.
I'm over it.
New brake pads fixed the noise for me.
Although I could have sworn it was the drivers side, it turned out to be the passenger side. Very hard to tell which side a high pitched noise is coming from!!
