Thread: Unusual loop in plug

Damink, I believe the plug is intended to stop electrical noise going back into the cux14 I seem to remember reading on one of the US sites about it. mine was off prior to putting rover gauge on. I have permanently left the USB connected to the CUX14 with no problems. hope that helps I can probably track down the reference to the potential noise issue if you like

Makes sense, i would have mentioned an earth loop as that's what it looked like but i thought it was only used for musical and sound equipment noise. Thanks for info
