Ah ok, Out of curiousity was that a limited edition D1? just wondering as mine is the 1998 model so its the last year of the D1's production that I can recall and mine just has the basic side light in the rear

I have just the normal front and rear passenger lights but the led upgrade has made a huge difference, i picked up a couple of led strips with self adhesive tape that i will stick to the trim just below the alpine windows and wire to the load area light.

Mine was a 1996, maybe the previous owner put it in the back. It looks the same as the light in the D2. I thought it was standard but had the side light as well.

As I said just run a wire up the pillar and put a strip light on the plastic trim facing into the cargo area.
    Cheers, David.
