    Small miss at high revs

    Wise ones,
my 97 300 tdi auto has a small miss/hesitation at higher revs when under load. It did this once before and I replaced the fuel and air filter and that sorted it. Problem this time is that fuel and air filter are new, injectors are new and I just reset fuel pump timing.
All ideas appreciated, cheaper solutions preferred...

Could be a blocked pickup in the fuel tank, accessible via a hatch in the load space floor under the carpet. Could also be the lift pump, a relatively easy thing to change.

    Check turbo/intercooler hoses

As title, check for softness or delaminating inside, Regards Frank.
