Hmm it does seem that way
Not sure I will be able to look at it in a nice way again either!
We really have almost no money left after the wedding and honeymoon despite us doing a great deal of the wedding stuff ourselves and getting a food truck for food etc and using a tent and camping grounds mainly for the honeymoon, so really a fix comes down to me doing the work probably. Oh. We had A LOT of financial help for both wedding and honeymoon from friends and family so we are eternally grateful for that.
A cheap wedding doesn't exist these days. Wonder if it ever did but I guess that can of worms is for another forum!
Yes it seems like that is the general consensus from all who have gone down this road. A very clear DON'T DO IT!!!!
All very valid points especially the bit about the 'problem child'. Yes it may be a problem child. I don't honestly think one would know until the remaining issues are fixed and it had a few runs on the board though. My gut feel is that yes it is a problem child however. The car isn't what I would call nice no. The previous owner resprayed it himself from the beautiful original Charleston Green to white. Didn't mask off areas so there was overspray everywhere and used self drilling screws by the bucket load to attach items inside the vehicle. The headlining is falling down also. In hindsight we shouldn't have bought the car but a lot of the stuff (apart from the paint) I found out later after we had bought it. Second hand car, right? Same story everywhere.
As for your D1 maybe love can develop over time? Like love in an arranged marriage? Your wife may, after many wonderful trips in your noble steed of glory, develop a genuine and ever lasting love for the beast![]()
