Thread: ZF Auto: RPM bounce in D when stopped

My 300tdi does the same, began after new injectors and timing checked. Revs steady in neutral or if accelerator touched. Figured idle speed to slow now?

Hot day today, oil light started to flicker with AC on and stopped in D. Revs were way too low.

I've now set idle to ~950 RPM in N whilst engine hot. Drops down to ~700 in D with AC on. Still wants to bounce with AC on but otherwise bounce gone and no more oil pressure flicker. Its a shame there isn't an idle bump for the AC.
