    yhea like i said you do have a good spot put i didnt relize it wouldnt fit neatly but u do have a good point sposs

    This is in a D2 but I'm pretty sure from memory that the D1 is similar.

    The rest of the radio is mounted in the back of the console. I was going to put it under the passengers seat, but there's not enough room there as there's already an amp mounted there. The other place where there is enough room to mount the back half of the radio is under the dash on the passengers side, below the glovebox. But I've mounted another fusebox here for accessories, dual battery charging for the camper trailer etc and didn't want to clutter it up any more.
