My front foot wells are also damp well...the driver side feels damp all of the time and i have tried and tried to dry iy (i currently have all the doors open and the sun is beaming onto the foot well.
But the strangest thing is the passenger foot well, it feels dry all the time! iv never felt it damp...but if i leave a pair of socks or shirt or anything which would absorb water and come back in the morning (no rain) they will be drenched! its the strangest thing!![]()
Hey, i drowned my disco once (see the bushbashs page on you tube), i think you'll find the underlay is soaked, this is very heavy spongy stuff and holds water for a very long time. You will have to take your carpets out to dry them properly. This is actually very easy to do. The downside is if you want to dry the underlay you will either have to take out your center console and dash, the carpet runs that far up and is secured with the dash mounting bolts, or will have to cut it. I suggest you get onto this quickly, mine was wet for a month and rusted very badly. Oh yeah, if you want to see what the drowned disco looks like now go to YouTube - mudsloth's Channel
Good luck
Adam
we used to pick up dehumdifiers from the local hire place, leave it running in the back over night, that drys everything out,
