    Roof Lining Question

    Hi Guys
Can anyone reccommend an automotive trimmer to replace roof lining close to Northern Beaches of Sydeny.
Had a quote from company in Brookvale at $650.
    Thanks

    Steve,

Does that quote include taking it out and reinstalling it after the relining?

I used Peter [Peter's Auto Upholstery] 04 1209 3883 to do mine. He used grey felt. Not original, but looks OK. On his suggestion I stuck a piece of 3mm MDF board [craftwood] to the recess section above the front seats. It gives it some rigidity to the headlining. He is based around Parramatta & will come to you. He did quite a good job. You could save some money if you remove & replace the headlining yourself. He will give you a quote over the phone.
    Good luck
    Michael.

Sorry guys I have been out of the country for work.

Yes it did include removal and reinstall, save about $150 if I removed and reinstalled, but as he said I will probably spend more on the clips I break than the $150.

He has done many of them and tells me that they have the longest width of any vehicle, so require a special width material.

I thought guys on here were talking $250-300.
