    My Ladder arrived today. Nice bit of kit and little more than just a few bits of welded steel!

    Those crush nuts, anything I should know before using them. Like do they need a lot of clearance in the hole etc, and how crushed are they before they strip out?

    Yes!!!!

    The Rivnuts suck badly. They're aluminium and you need to feel then very carefully as you do them up. As soon as the torque even remotely starts to go up, indicating the crush action has finished, then don't do them up any tighter or the thread will strip out of them. They're sooooo dodgy, but even doing them up this loose, I've not yet had a bolt fall out of them.

    Thanks Slunnie, These are the kind of thing that are realy easy to muck up.

    And yes, I want mine to resemble yours too.... It's a work of 4x4 art mate. So far I have the colour right!
