can you tell ne why she dont likje starting

well we went away for the weekend took a jayco camper with us and for atleast a month now my battery light on the dash has been going on and off, i have dual batteries, this weekend it started giving me a little grief on our way up the high beem were going dull than bright, than it wouldent start in the morning volts were reading 13.4 but was very slowly cranking over not enough to start hooked up to anather 4wd started great ran all day fine stopped and started than the next morning didnt start without a jump even though the 2 batteries were both reading 13.6, my thoughts are

starter but ti starts fine when jumped
altanator well it still has voltage
regulator might explain a few thing like high beam dropping up and down
bad earth is what im really thinking
battery maybe its dien even though it reads voltage maybe overnight it drops its crankjing amps is this possible but than when i tried to override the isolator and sart of the second battery it wouldent hooked leads up to second battery and wouldnt start would only start of anather car but only in the morning

    its a 95 300tdi with 140 000

When you jump start ... do you put the Earth jump cable on the battery ... or the motor

Most probably .... Dirty battery connections ... or just dry joints on the battery connector's

Then take all your battery terminal connections off the batteries, and give them A good cleanup

Pour hot water over them / Spray CRC / Clean up with wet & dry / Put a smear of grease on them

A check to see if its an earthing problem that someone posted a short while ago:

Attach a jumper lead from the negative terminal of the main battery direct to somewhere on the engine block.

    Try and start it.

If it fires up easily, it is an earthing issue.

One earth to check is the earth metal wire from the back of the starter motor to the chasis rail.
