    Back in the good books .

    After having the gearbox rebuilt i must say that my disco is a treat to drive now . The gear changes are a lot smoother . I can hear the engine again . So after all my sooking i am at the point now of being happy i have spent the money on the disco . I just need some shockies now and a new drivers seat after the webbing underneath the seat had ripped in half . I'm all smiles for now .

    Glad to here your happy with spawn Mick,
    When my web broke under the seat I hand stiched some leather around it (part of an old welding apron) wrapping around the steel ends and clipping it back worked well.

    Hi mick,Great to hear that Spawn ( previously Elmo ) is going well .If you need 2nd hand seats call "TRS" , I find their prices really good.
