Weeds, when you say no increase in power, what about throttle response? Does it feel like it breathes a little easier and is more responsive?

the turbo spools up a quicker therefore what power is there seems to be available earier

the main reason i upgraded the whole system was it had to be re-routed so i could fit my pto shafts

I took the center muffler out of my 300tdi Disco last week when I had to replace the flex joint.

Cant say I noticed any difference in performance (possibly the rear muffler is still restricting it), and no noticeable increase in noise level.
I did start it an give it a quick rev with the pipe off completely (ie nothing on the manifold) and it definitely spooled very quickly without the pipe on. Didn't have the chance to drive it like that to see if it made a difference on the road.

I think fusion is the best person to talk to about this, heres a video of his with a straight through exhaust i believe it is, i have had a quote to get mine done in a place in toowoomba and they only quoted me under 100... not 100% on the exact price but i now it definitely wasnt 200+

    stock is 2,3/8"-60mm.

I wouldn't bother going bigger considering it will only cost you $40 to get pipe put in place of the mufflers Cheap and Cheerful!

hello, i realise you have posted this note while ago, i was interested in how you went with the straight through exhaust? Did it make a difference? how did it afefct the sound? I have a TD5 and i took of the cat and the centre mufler and replaced it with a straight through mufler. The car performs better howeverthere is lot of harmonic vibration throughout the rev range and it realy peaks at 2300 revs to a point where it drives me crazy. I'm now thinking how i can fix it. How did you go with yours? Does anyone have an idea?
