I ve put up with mine for over two years, so a bit longer won't hurt. Keep me up to date or let me know if you need a hand with it, thanks DB.

Sounds a lot easier to do.

Did my Disco dash with the repair kit many moons ago.
A couple of things to note:

    A) You are supposed to trim the front edge of the peeling dash top by about 1cm......do it, the further away from the screen you get, the easier it will be to get your screw in (unless you take the screen out). It may aso lessen the leverage (lifting force??) of the peeling dash cause I didn't and......

The leverage of the peeling dash has actually now either ripped out the screws on mine, one even pulled out a small piece of the hard plastic section of the dash with it!!! Maybe a new dash is more longer lasting??!

    C) Black looks cool (as always) if you have to choose between black and grey.

    D) There is no kit for the front liting (destroyed my console top too).

    Hope this is of help!!

The replacement dash you buy from a dealer for $100, is it just the shell or is all the electric stuff inside?
