    Thanks in advance TIM...
Mate, there are 2 drains for the A/C, one in each side of the transmission tunnel. Jump under the car & you can see them, they have these little rubber cone shaped stoppers with 4 slits in them which allow water to drain out but don't allow mud etc. to get in. These get blocked with gunk but they just pop out of the drain tube for easy cleaning!
TIP; Do it when engine is cold or you may burn your arms on the exhaust Y pipes! (don't ask me how I know this!)
Cheers, Tim. (bloody top name you have too mate!)

Not on your model Tim. Earlier models- the drain is in the engine bay, there is just one. Comes through the firewall near the turbo, on the passenger side. You can see the hose by looking up under the dash from the passenger foot well too.

water ingress - ya gotta love it!! I have pulled out my windscreen and got it re glued in, sika flexed everything including the grommits so they wont leak. Oh by the way I had to cut out and replaced the floor on both sides of my disco as well. checked ac drain - ok. Water still gets in I conceed defeat and am now looking around for a series III or county ute tray back body to fit it it. That way any water that leaks in will leak straight out.

Hope this Tectyl stuff is good,
pulled up the carpet & rubber from my 96 Disco & found some heavy surface rust drivers side, just a little on the passenger side, was happy to find it hadn't gone through the floor.
Put a wire brush on the grinder and cleaned it all up, vacumed it & gave it a nice thick coat of this Tectyl.

Think the water was coming in through the door so i removed the bungs in the bottom of it.
After a heavy downpoor, you would open the drivers door & a heap of water would run out of it.
Found the drivers side aircon drain blocked as well

Floor should last a few more years hopefully!!!

Had a heavy downpour last night,
Found a little water on the floor again,
With a torch i found it had been running down the wall of the footwell (behind the kick panel) on both sides.

Anyone know how this water is getting there????
