Question 300 TDI Soft in the head 11

Well,I have renewed the head, gasket, thermostat and head bolts and still the system is pressurising enough to push coolant out of the expansion tank.Radiator looks as if recent recond[ good copper fins fresh painted and clean looking inside]and water pump is also recent. It seems as the thermostat just starts to open the level in the expansion tank rises,as the water moves through the radiator it overflows the tank. Will try another expansion tank cap when I get the chance but it's a last resort.
    Got me beat,any ideas?

    Could be a warped block..........

    Did you check the deck?

I second the deck check, have seen 1 pulled up at the sides, continually blowing gasket down th middle. Also, was an Elring genuine composite gasket used?

I cant really add anymore apart from rechecking the entire cooling system for leaks, sucking air or airpockets in the system itself. (block, heater etc)

But I do love the title of the thread......

Yes it was a Elring composite head gasket.I guess a warped deck is the only option left.Just trying to avoid taking the motor out.If that is the case, might as well polish the crank, new rings etc,Gawd!so much for a quick fix!
