    I would do that but I like having my passenger door open...problem is going going to become a costly exercise keep changing it.

    I would go out and by a brand new unit like keithy siad he did but very reluctant to spend that sort of money to fit and find it still makes the same noise

    Lou, there are 2 torx head bolts (one on each side of the door) that hold the window frame in.

    EDIT: your not talking about the ones in the bottom of the door on either side are you?

    Think there are actualy 4 come to think of it, 2 are on the bottom on the inside and 2 are on the top on the outside, about an inch below the rubber stip on the door frame.

    I think i just remembered why mine starts crunching and making nasty noises, i'm pretty shore i fixed it for a short time a while ago.
    The problem i found was that the two window seals were not allowing the window to slide up and downwards freely and causing the window to dislodge on the way down and work to hard on the way up, i tried rubbing some sope on the seal just to see if this was the problem, it seemed to fix it until the sope dried out a little while later
    Yours might be a different prob though...
