    95 v8i front axle

    question, can i unbolt the cv. swivel hub etc in one piece from the axle housing where the coil springs sitt???? to make it a quicker and easyer job of replacing the front axle housing, i wanna undo as less as i can to keep it quick and clean

    Mate, part of this topic came up when Joker was talking about leaking swivel seals.

    Checkout that thread for some good oil.

    read it and dosent answer my question i dont want to pull down the hubs and stuff,
    i just want to know if i can undo the bolts on the axle housing and pull the axles, wheels, disc, brakes and swivel hub off in one go

    Yes, but make sure the car is further from the nearest wall than the length of the axle. Ask me how I know. And they are pretty heavy. Regard s Philip A

    Yes you can, Edit, as I made an ass of myself thinking you wanted to change the axle, not the whole housing!

    my 83 60 seires also looks as good as this but the body far from it lolol


    as far as heavy couldnt be as heavy as a nissan patrol rear

    Done the wall thing myself. Where you jack the car up take the wheels off undo everything and you are to close to the wall for the axle to come out of the housing)
