go with dobinson springs and bilstien shocks. for what you want would be ideal. you should not need castor correction with a 2 inch lift at all. only when you go over this does the axel housing get put offset from centre. Imho would be a waste of money. (dont buy ironman, if you want it to handle)

agreed, you wont need to worry about castor correction with a 2 inch lift. Over 2 inches and you will definately need to. IMo, if you want more, then go 2 inch coils and 2 inch body lift. keeps everything in line.

    hope that helps

yeh agreed. i dunno about body lift though lol id loveone but at the end of the day as soon as you stick larger tires on it is not roadworthy anymore and im afraid with my current police driving record :-P WOOPS i have to stay discrete for a fair while lol so i think a 2in with say slightly larger muddies but still legal will do me.. when the funds allow.
DEFINATELY fitting the lift MYSELF as i CANT justify paying some other retard to do a job i can do myself :-P so yeh thinking maybe dobinsons and lovells or maybe bilstein.. will see... thanks for the help guys! i think i will keep clear of ARB for now as i dont believe they are worth their price.
Stu i might call in 2moro arvo with it if your home?!

yeh mate, the price was $1400 fitted for suspension and $1700 with castor kit and $1900 with steering stabaliser. i wouldnt get stabaliser as mine is still in good nic and have new spare. but problem is they wouldnt fit castor kit if i fitted lift kit myself. basically they said in not as many words that unless they do it they dont wanna touch it or know about it. dunno. Geelong ARB used to be quite good and have had good experiences there with my old man getting things for multple 4x4's. But lately they have really gone downhill and have different ppl there with alot less knowledge... suspision they changed ownership? not sure.... but thanks mate i do come down colac way sometimes. and would actually be gr8 to feel one first hand, cheers :-D will have to arrange sometime soon,
    Matt
