Thread: 3.9 and 4.0 similarities

Funny question.
The heads are the same so they are the same at that end, but the other end may be different depending on which car each came from eg a classic may have a different outlet to exhaust than a D2 which may be different to a 38A.

I saw some D2 manifolds on ebay recently that were quite different in appearance to my Classic , as they were steel and had expansion "concentinas" .

So its not the motor but the car you should be concerned with.

Its off a D2 so all things being equal, probably the same. The manifold would be coming from the states so just want to make sure.

Standard manifold works a treat, extractors have very little impact at all if any.

Why the import dare I ask?

Just everyone who has one on a wreck wants a bucket of gold for them. This one would be $80 imported.

only problem with import is, if you need it in a hurry,
Might take a week or could be a month.
I ordered something from the USA, 2 weeks so far
