any metal switches will be aftermarket,, spotties maybe?
the two holes could well be a trailer plug mount

Hi folks. Got myself a new Disco 1 recently and on the dash, immediately left of the steering wheel are two metal switches, obviously aftermarket things I think. They don't seem to be connected to anything. Any ideas? Also, there are two small holes drilled in the rear bumper, RHS. The mounting for an aerial do you think?
Any ideas welcomed!
Cheers
Jon

Difficult to guess without more help.
Perhaps it had airbags inside the rear springs at one time and the air lines were routed to valve stems at the holes in the bumper!
ejector seat?
Flux capacitor.
switches for lockers perhaps

Self destruct mechanism...
TBH - They could be absolutely anything and the only person likely to be able to answer that one is the person who fitted them in the first place.
Your best bet is to trace the wiring and see what it leads to...
